Bishop, California – The Owens Valley Career Development Center has been awarded a new grant through the Tribal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (Tribal MIECHV) Program, a federal initiative administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families (ACF).
Fresno, California – The Owens Valley Career Development Center (“OVCDC”) is proud to announce the appointment of Jamie Smith as the new Language Program Manager. Jamie officially joined OVCDC on June 16, 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience in cultural preservation and language revitalization, along with years of experience working with Native communities across California.
